What is it about a sunflower that makes us smile? Their happy faces remind us of sunshine and warmth, and the seeds nurture both humans and animals. Standing tall with stretched out necks the sunflowers remind us to always be hopeful and expect positive change. I loved painting sunflowers for so many of those reasons.
